GNR certainly does not deserve to be in there. They released three albums and one EP and then went away. How many bands did they influence compared to the number of bands influenced by Anthrax, Metallica, Judas Priest, Sonic Youth, or the Pixies? Not many I'd venture to guess.Davehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15951430008150125773noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13827702.post-48695128739830193272011-09-30T17:54:33.486-05:002011-09-30T17:54:33.486-05:00I am not a big fan of Guns N Roses. they had a few...I am not a big fan of Guns N Roses. they had a few good songs on the Use Your Illusion albums but overall, I can't say I'm a fan of their work.

I saw them in concert in Dallas once but I only went to the show because they were double headlining with Metallica and I went to see them. (The band that stole that show, however, was the opening act, Faith No More).

I am shocked that they have been nominated to the Hall of Fame while Metallica has not. I am not surprised that Anthrax had not been nominated (although they are a great band) however.Otter Limitshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11975093403377963897noreply@blogger.com
