Album Review: The Spastic Hearts

Title:  The Spastic Hearts (CD Baby, Big Cartel, Amazon)
Artist:  The Spastic Hearts (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, ReverbNation, BandCamp, Big Cartel, CD Baby, Last.fm)

The Spastic Hearts play an incredible blend of power pop and pop punk resulting in a sound that is equal parts Kurt Baker, The Methadones, and Masked Intruder or if you want to go old school, their sound is equal parts early Elvis Costello, early Cheap Trick, and early Ramones.  From start to finish The Spastic Hearts is an incredible album filled with songs that are fun, catchy as all-get-out, and excellently played.  This is easily one of the best records of 2013 and an absolute must for fans Teenage Bottlerock, The Eyeliners, The Mr. T Experience, Nick Lowe, Joe Jackson, The Muffs, Shonen Knife, Weezer or any of the aforementioned.  Seriously this record is that good.
