Album Review: A

Title:  A (BandCamp, ReverbNation)
Artist:  The Slowdown (Facebook, MySpace, BandCamp, ReverbNation)

The Slowdown's album A is a fascinating mixture of styles and influences.  Pulling from everything from U2 to Faith No More (the Mike Patton years) to the Smashing Pumpkins (post Melancholy and the Infinite Sadness) to Tool to Radiohead, The Slowdown has created a sound that is incredibly unique and hard to pin down.  As an album A is a journey through moods and rhythms ranging from dark to darker making this music the perfect soundtrack for a horror film.
