Album Review: We’ve Been Here Forever

Title:  We’ve Been Here Forever (Deep Elm Records, Amazon, iTunes)

Hailing from Austin, TX, Again For The Win is a band that mixes genres and moods on their sophomore full-length album We’ve Been Here Forever.  The record’s sound is a mixture of anthem fueled emo, post punk, and indie rock; in other words imagine a combination of Jimmy Eat World, Sunny Day Real Estate, Joy Division, and Archers of Loaf.  In perfect Texas fashion, what AFTW does they do big.  This record is filled with big hooks, big choruses, and emotions that are front and center.  This band lets it all hang out and wears their heart on their sleeve making We’ve Been Here Forever a rollercoaster of a ride.
