EP Review: Strength Vs. Will

Title:  Strength Vs. Will (Official, BandCamp, CD Baby, Amazon)

Hailing from Boston, MA, Save Ends is a five piece pop punk band with dueling male and female lead vocals and a piano to compliment the traditional guitar, bass, and drums.  The band’s latest release is the five-song EP Strength Vs. Will and is a great collection of modern pop punk songs.  What makes Save Ends really work is the vocals.  The trade off between the singers creates a layered dynamic that we just don’t get enough of in pop punk.  On top of the vocals, the production is clear and brings out the best in the songs, which are all really good.  This is certainly a band to watch.
