EP Review: Rockin’ for a Living

Title:  Rockin’ for a Living (BandCamp, Amazon, Interpunk, iTunes)

Released last October, Rockin’ for a Living is a fun romp of power pop gems in the vein of early Elvis Costello and Nick Lowe.  The six song EP opens with the best song Elvis Costello never wrote in “Just Forget About It.”  The rest of the EP follows suit with exceptionally well crafted power pop songs that are certain to please.  Baker is a talent and with songs like these, he’s destined to become a power pop legend.
