Album Review: Dead Flowers

Title:  Dead Flowers (BandCamp, Shit Music for Shit People Records, Amazon, iTunes)
Artist:  Strange Hands (Facebook, MySpace, BandCamp, Last.fm)

Hailing from Bordeaux, France, Strange Hands play ‘60s influenced garage rock.  The band’s full-length debut Dead Flowers is chockfull of catchy and raw power pop/garage rock ala “Stepping Stone” era The Monkees.  In fact all of Dead Flowers sounds like something that could have been released 45 years ago during the hippy movement.  This is a great album of retro rock fun.

Thanks to The Styrofoam Drone for the find.
