Hunx & His Punx play an almost low fi bubblegum doo-wop pop / sock-hop ‘50s rock ‘n’ roll thing. In a lot of ways Hunx & His Punx reminds me of a stripped down version of The Pipettes with a guy singing and this is a good thing. Too Young to Be in Love is a great record. It is fun, the songs are catchy, and it is just long enough to leave you wanting more without going on to the point of getting tiresome.
For once I really don’t have a lot to say about a record, other than it is really, really good and worth checking out.
