I feel for the guy with the Pizza. I once bought a frozen Pepperoni Pizza from the Asda at Eastleigh. On the outside of the box the picture showed a pizza loaded with topping - when I opened the box there were only three slices of Pepperoni and not big slices either - they were diameter of a button. I drove all the way back up there and got it changed but I'll never buy a pizza in a sealed box again. They don't want you see the reality of the pizza inside the box - they want you to buy into the fantasy depicted on the outside. And that serves as suitable metaphor for the whole consumerist dream - it's like a frozen pizza.
